The grounds of Shanghai Dongjiao State Guest Hotel were stunning, with beautiful gardens surrounding a serene lake. though I found the location a bit far from downtown. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I wished for more variety in dining options and faced some inconvenience when traveling between buildings.
